Last weekend we went to Beverly, MA to visit our friends and took a trip into Boston to tour the Sam Adams Brewery and stop by the Johnny Cupcakes store on Newbury Street. Last weekend we went to Beverly, MA to visit our friends and took a trip into Boston to tour the Sam Adams Brewery and stop by the Johnny Cupcakes store on Newbury Street. I'm telling our friends about Johnny's and our course they thought it was a bakery like everyone else. So Saturday rolls around and before we catch the train I check online and JC is having a special edition release! I was really excited because Johnny is usually at these events and there is usually a huge crowd. Now I had all intentions of wearing my DeadMaus shirt to JC and I started thinking what would people's reactions be since JC's cupcake and cross bones is the inspiration of my "Dead" line which feature various icons over cross bones. We get there.....and it's awesome! The inside is like a bakery and it's as if I'm a kid at a toy store. I walk around, I take some pictures, I start chatting with the guy at the register who gave me a look or two as did a few others wondering what my shirt was about I'm sure. I started telling the guy about my clothing line and how JC inspired my line and he says well Johnny is right there, he'd love to hear about it. My jaw dropped. I did  think he'd be here at the shop, but figured I'd have missed him by that time.  At the news, I did this slow motion turn-around hand extended shake and stumbled over the words: "it's a pleasure to meet your sir, you inspired me to follow my dream of creating T-shirts like no other" as I shake his hand. Lauren quickly asks him if we could take a picture and I was just star struck I guess, as weird as that is. I wanted to ask him 100 things and talk about how he did it and what not. I walked around the store some more and gathered my thoughts. We bought two shirts and I approached him again for another photo. Johnny and I  chatted it up a bit and he told me where to send him some of my gear so he could check it out. It was such a great experience!  It all gave me millions of ideas and Johnny was so cool. I can't wait to send him a swag bag and hopefully get some pics of him in my gear, maybe a shout out on twitter with a pic and a link. Can't wait for him to come to NY for a lecture and I might have heard a rumor about a book in the works.

Everyone watch this and get one other person to watch this its the most disturbing thing I've ever seen or heard about. We as American must do anything and everything we can do to support the movement. I've got bills out the ass, running this tshirt business cost money, I'm saving for a wedding and I plan on making monthly contributions to the efforts.

We need to start a kickstart project to raise money to buy one of these bad boys
